Year 6 SATs Week

Year 6 SATs Week is an important time for our pupils at Milton Abbot Primary, and we understand that many parents will have questions about what to expect. During this week, children complete statutory assessments designed to help teachers understand progress in key areas of learning. Please encourage your child to attend school on time, arrive ready to learn, and follow the normal routines for sleep, healthy meals, and reading. If your child feels nervous, remind them that doing their best is what matters most, and that the assessments are only one part of their overall learning journey. Our staff will support pupils throughout the week with calm, consistent teaching and reassurance, and we will share results and next steps in line with national guidance.
