Haiti Earthquake Appeal
THANK YOU!
We have raised over £1,000.
Our thanks to everyone who has supported this appeal through supporting the recent Cake Stall and Bring and Buy Sale. We have also had some very generous donations from families and individuals.
We have raised enough money to purchase TWO ShelterBoxes (and a bit towards a third) for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
The total raised was £1,001.96. all this money was sent off to ShelterBox on 29th January.
Our appeal has now closed but you can still send donations direct to Shelterbox if you wish.
See http://shelterbox.org/ for details of this charitable organisation based in Cornwall.
David Glover from ShelterBox will visit the school on Wednesday 3rd February to talk to the whole school about how ShelterBox is helping in Haiti.
